It is a weight control system for the quantity of product transiting on the conveyor belts. Installed on the infeed belt or on the finished products belt, it supplies exact information regarding how much your plant is working. It is the heart of the production control system as it supplies the Quarry Production Control®, Quarry Control Light®, Quarry Control Pro® control software with the data necessary to manage the quantities of material in production. Serial communication means laying a very small amount of cables in the event of several systems.
The conveyor belt weighing system can be coupled with the Quarry Production Control system for automatic data recording.

What is it
It is made up from a sensor or weighing bridge (cell/and loading), which instantly measures the weight transiting on the conveyor belt and a speed transmitter (encoder), which detects the instantaneous speed. By processing these signals appropriately, the capacity transported by a belt can be obtained instantly. It is used by production control to check the flow of material that transits on the belt as well as performing totalling through time. Connected to the production control system, it can supply very accurate indications regarding the work mode of the plant as well as record the quantities produced through time. It can be installed on the production infeed primary belt and on secondary belts in order to distinguish and quantify the various types of production.
How
Installation is very simple and requires minimum mechanical modifications to the existing belt. The weighing bridge is positioned inside the belt below one of the circuits of the belt itself, while the speed sensor is introduced in direct contact with the mat (system with wheel) or fitted directly onto the idle drum.
