What is it: a pressure sensor that is installed on the hydrocyclone cone (therefore for plants with washing) for continuous monitoring of the pressure generated inside the cone. A membrane separates the part measured by the sensor in order to prevent sand and dirty water from entering the sensor itself.

What is it used for: the sensor allows to monitor any operating limit conditions, preventing these causing the loss of fine sands or even jamming of the hydrocyclone drain pipes.
The system also allows to monitor pump status through the pressure. Plant anomalies are signalled immediately.
