What is it: an ultrasound sensor that measures the distance from the application point to the bottom of the hopper/silo; it gives an alarm signal as soon as the material reaches a determined set level. The sensor is not affected by the presence of dust or sprays of water.

What is it used for: to determine any jamming in the material unload channel, crusher load openings, maximum hopper levels, load/unload cleaning vats, screens unload etc... etc...

Advantages:
Decrease/zeroing of restore times due to jamming
Less staff assigned to plant control
Increase in safety (for example, due to possible spillover and fall of material from above)
